Luminescent surface of Double EL wire is double than the Single EL wire, so its brightness is stronger than Single EL wire. And the two cores of double EL wire work as two electrodes, which can transmit and allow 1500mA of electrical current go through, so Double EL wire can be use with long length in more reasonable and safe.

There are two methods to joint with the input electrical source.

A. When input 220VAC, two center cores work as two electrodes (see drawing), it is better method when use Double EL wire in long length.

B. When input 110VAC, two center cores is one electrode, two slim conductive wires is another electrode(see drawing), it is better method when use Double EL wire in short length.
